Mrs. Jane Moore, age 87 of Jacksboro passed away Monday, November 13, 2023. She was a member of Fincastle Methodist Church, and enjoyed spending time and dining with her dear friends, Lorene Claiborne and Edna St. John. Jane also loved watching the University of Tennessee Football and Basketball teams, and was formerly employed with Beaty Chevrolet for many years. Preceded in death by Husband, Joe E. Moore, Parents, Clarence and Goldie Chapman, and Brother, John Chapman.
Survivors: Sister, Ruth Henegar; Brothers, Poe Chapman and Wife, Opal, Sam Chapman and Wife, Vickie, and Edwin Chapman and Wife, Linda; Numerous loving Nieces, Nephews, fellow Fincastle Methodist Church members, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Steve Evans officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday, November 17, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery (5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919) for Graveside Services and Interment. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to: Campbell County Cancer Association, P.O. Box 122, Jacksboro, TN 37757.
