Jane Pantoja, age 78, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, while reading her Bible. In a moment that reflected the very heart of who she was, she went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Born on August 7, 1947, Jane lived a life defined by faith, devotion, and tireless dedication to others. She was widely known for her deep love for Jesus and her unwavering commitment to her church community. Her faith was not only something she spoke about, but something she lived every single day.

Jane was a hard worker throughout her life and held many jobs over the years. She fondly worked at the Grants candy counter, where her warm smile and friendly nature brightened the days of many. She also devoted herself to caring for children through her work in child care for the YMCA, reflecting her lifelong passion for nurturing and guiding young lives. Caring for children and animals brought her immense joy, and she gave her time and heart generously to both.

She is survived by her loving sister, Pat Chew; her daughter, Lisa Thompson; her granddaughter, Cambria Thompson; and her great-grandchildren, Genesis and Lyric Thompson. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished each of them deeply.

Jane will be remembered for her kind spirit, strong work ethic, compassionate heart, and steadfast faith. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the children she cared for, the animals she loved, and the family who will carry her memory forward.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace, reunited with her Savior.
