I am so sorry to hear about Jane. She was a mentor, and in a way and at a time when that was not appreciated from a woman at PC. She didn't just enter the culture, she changed it, and for the better for all of her students. I believe the college owes a great deal to Jane Lunin Perel, and I hope the college respects her role in creating an evolving culture. Some people just endure it, and some change it. Jane changed it. May her memory be a blessing.

Mort,
My deepest sympathies to you on the passing of Jane. She was such a wonderful, skilled and knowledgeable person. Jane always did things with such grace. The two of you were such a great couple! I think, for me, knowing that she began a Holocaust program at a Catholic college was such an accomplishment. May all of your memories help during this difficult time.
Warm regards
