In Loving Memory of Jane Martin Pollard

Jane Martin Pollard, born March 15, 1947, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, ElijahVernon Martin and Lila Pitts Martin; her sister, Joan Martin Morris; and her brother, Ricky Martin.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Pollard, Sr; her children, Donna Jane Pollard Fuller (Allen)and Robert “Bob” Pollard, Jr (Dena); her sister, Kathy Martin Busby (Hobson); her grandchildren, Austin Elijah Pollard (Michelle), Matthew Cole Pollard, Kami Fuller (Zach), Drew Fuller; and hergreat-grandson, Walker Pollard.

Jane was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she faithfully served as Choir Director for many years along with many other duties.

Jane worked for the Newberry County School District as a Teacher’s Aide for Elementary and Middle School, during which time she received numerous awards and recognition for her service and devotion.

Jane also enjoyed shopping for and collecting antiques and being with her family.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday, February 9, 2026 at 1:30 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church cemetery. Family will remain afterwards for visitation.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, any memorials be directed to Trinity United Methodist Church, 1167 Trinity Church Road, Newberry, SC 29108.
