Jane Porcella Obituary
Jane G. Porcella, 83, of Beach Haven, NJ, passed away on Monday October 6, 2025. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Jane spent most of her adult life there before settling full-time in Beach Haven, NJ in 1996. Philly was Jane’s home base, where her father served as city controller from 1954 to 1958. Jane and her family had a strong connection to LBI for 70 years, her great grandfather built their family home in Beach Haven in 1950, and she survived the Great Atlantic Hurricane of 1944 (she and her family escaping the original home which was lost) and Hurricane Sandy of 2012. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed painting, reading everything, and cooking.
Jane was predeceased by her parents Foster A. Dunlap, Sr. and Evelyn Gordon Dunlap, and brother Foster A. Dunlap, Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Porcella, of 65 years, son Christian A. Porcella of Philadelphia, son Michael R. Porcella of Beach Haven, daughter Laura Lewandowski (Michael) of Philadelphia, and son Robert T. Porcella of Philadelphia. Also surviving are her grandchildren Evelyn W. Cahall of New York City and Bobbi E. Lewandowski of Philadelphia.
Funeral services will be private.
