Jane was born on September 19, 1930 and passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019. A graduate of Apollo High School, Apollo, Pa., she moved to Freeport in 1953 where she would spend the rest of her life. Honoring Jane's wishes, funeral services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Dennis J. Daugherty Funeral Home, Freeport, Pa. It was Jane's request that memorials be made to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, 4401 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224; or toSt.

It's no surprise that she gave two dollar bills to the children. That tradition was practiced by Joesie Alvino with our children she would give them the two dollar bills and not taking it would have been an insult. My wife now carries on the tradition with our grandchildren.
