Jane Roeske Obituary
FILLMORE - With deep sadness and steadfast faith, the family of Jane Ellen Gregg Roeske, 86, of Fillmore, previously of Caneadea, announces her passing on Tuesday (Oct. 21, 2025), at Olean General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Family and friends may gather from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, at Houghton Wesleyan Church, where a funeral service will be held at 3 .p.m Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, with Rev. David Huizenga officiating. Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, at Riverside Cemetery, Belfast.
Memorials if desired may be made to Houghton University Bill Roeske Scholarship Fund; Houghton Wesleyan Church; or Gideon's International.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee St., Fillmore.

I remember Jane as such a sweet and gentle person. I taught social studies and Jane in the elementary school.
I think of her as someone who exemplifies what it means to walk their faith.
May her family be comforted in the knowledge that she will now be at peace.
