Jane Carol Tarr, 93, passed away peacefully following a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born in Chicago, the daughter of Helmer and Ruth (Norman) Jochim. Jane married James “Jim” Tarr in Downers Grove on June 13, 1952. He passed away on January 11, 2021. Her family is very thankful and grateful for the comfort and support that Jane received from VITAS Healthcare.
Survived by her loving daughter, Deborah Nielsen; her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren and her daughter-in-law, Brenda Tarr. Predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Jim; her son Chad Tarr and her grandson, Adam Tarr.
There are no services planned at this time. Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family.
