Jane H. Wilson

Jane Helena Wilson Uniondale, NY Born: March 29, 1926, Wheeling, WV Died: September 24, 2025, East Meadow, NY At the age of 5, following her father's death, Jane moved to Prospect Avenue in Brooklyn, where she graduated from Holy Name School in 1940 and Bishop McDonnell High School in 1944. At age 19, Jane married former Merchant Marine Academy Midshipman Samuel E. Wilson, Jr. (deceased) and moved to Uniondale, NY to raise her family. She enjoyed gardening, cooking holiday meals for family, and decorating her home with all things pink. Jane proudly worked as a Sales Associate at Macy's Roosevelt Field for 35 years -- where she received multiple corporate recognitions for outstanding customer service. She is survived by her two sons, Samuel E. Wilson III (Portland, ME) and Steven E. Wilson (Winston-Salem, NC) and their wives, Fran and Kay, respectively. Her grandchildren are Sam and Fran's children Steven and Brian Wilson, and Steve and Kay's children Elliot Wilson and Samantha Teague (née Wilson). Great-grandchildren: Andrew (deceased), Ben and Claire Wilson; Luke, Olivia Harper and Tyler Lyn Teague. Special thanks for the gracious and tender care given to Jane by the staff at Sunrise of East Meadow and Hospice of New York. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on September 29th at Saint Martha's Catholic Church, 546 Greengrove Road, Uniondale, NY followed by internment at Pinelawn Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
