Jane Elizabeth Wright, 67, of Rushville, IL passed away at 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. She was born March 29, 1956 in Kenton, OH to the late Emery & Rosa Nell Rader. Jane married Allen Wright on July 18, 1981 in Kenton, OH. He survives along with (2) daughters; Kari Franck & Ken of Rushville, IL, Tiffany Wetzel & William of Decatur, IL, (4) grandchildren; Kenneth Franck, Jayden Franck, Andrew Franck, Ava Wetzel, (1) brother; Sherman Rader (wife Mindy deceased) of Cadda Mills, TX, (2) sisters; Judy Blue & Russell, Annette Rhoades all of Kenton, OH. Jane graduated from Riverdale High School in Ohio, with the class of 1975. She worked at Spoon River College until retirement. She was a member of the Beardstown First Christian Church and formerly attended the Salem United Church of Christ in Kenton, OH. She was also a member of the Goshen Grange in Ohio. She was an avid seamstress, baker, cake decorator, wedding event planner and serving her church family. She enjoyed playing Mrs. Claus with her husband for many years. She was an Ohio State Buckeye fan, an animal lover, liked playing cards, and spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2023 at Worthington Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2023 in Grove Cemetery in Kenton, OH with Pastor John D. Mummert officiating. Memorials may be given to Schuyler County Humane Society or Rely for Life.
