From there they moved to Lodgepole where Jane raised her family, worked as a waitress in local cafes, and later helped her husband when they purchased what was then the Frontier full-service gas station.
Jane was a member of the Lodgepole United Methodist Church. She was very active in the Lodgepole Community serving on several organizations and was proud of the community she grew up in and raised her family. She was a huge Nebraska Husker volleyball fan and followed them when she could on television!
