Janell Peeples Hicks, 79, of Summerville, South Carolina, wife of John Frederick Hicks entered into eternal rest Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Her funeral service will be held at the graveside Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Dorchester Memory Gardens,11000 Dorchester Road at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC. Janell was born October 25, 1936 in Charleston County, SC, daughter of the late Thomas M. Peeples and Pauline Warren Peeples. She was a retired Childcare worker and member of Northbridge Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, John Frederick Hicks of Summerville, SC; sister, Pauline Ward; two brothers, Thomas M. Peeples, Jr., and Nathan K. Peeples; numerous nieces and nephews.
