Janet Altman

Janet, our "Janet from another planet," had a laugh you could never forget and a sense of humor that lifted everyone around her. She made even the hardest days lighter. I will always carry the joy she brought into my life. Rest easy, beautiful soul.

I met Janet and her first husband Carl after my divorce. My 15-month old son Kevin was too young for nursery school so every day I would drop him off before I went to work and Janet would take care of him. Janet, Carl, Shelly and Jerry were like family and we did many things together.
Janet was beautiful...inside and out...with her blonde hair, piercing blue eyes and a wonderful laugh. We were like sisters, laughing and confiding in each other.
After Carl´s death, she met Richard and they had happy years together until his passing.
Janet never dwelt on sadness..she found the humor in everything.
The world was/is a better place with her in it and I miss her very much already.
