My heart was broken when I learned about her passing. Jan was my "AMEN" friend. She was my anchor. She was such a special woman. God I'm going to miss her. I've got this picture of us in my office. There wasnt a day that went by when I didnt think of her. My happy place. We used to get together every month for many many years. I used up my vacation days to be able to get together with her. We talked about anything and everything. She adored her family and her kitties. She was so excited to show off pictures of her grandchildren.
We would do lunch and then shopping. Those were my favorite memories. Cracker Barrel was the favorite place after she lost her hip. We could take care of both our favorite things. Eating and shopping. She loved her pecan pancakes! ...i let way too much time go by... A motorcycle accident sucked my time away from my dear friend. I'm so sorry I wasnt there for her at the end. My heart just breaks. She made such a wonderful impact in my life. I still talk about her to everyone. She was my inspiration. I'm stronger because of her. I'm so sorry for your loss Skippy. Sending my love and big hugs to you and your family. I'm so very sorry.
