Janet Lee Beckers

Janet Lee Beckers (Carter) Age 69 passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 2, 2024, at her home in Vancouver, WA. She was known to her family and friends as "Jani" or "Jan". She was born July 6, 1954, in Vancouver, WA to Hugh and Janet Carter. She was preceded in death by brother Rick Carter (2001). She worked at Vancouver Ford for 25 years. She Graduated from Columbia River High School in 1972. She enjoyed beach trips where she would spend the day hunting agates to add to her collection and she had a love for gardening which was obvious to anyone that had been to her home. One of the things she always looked forward to was spending time with her grandchildren and sleeping in on Saturdays. Jani always carried herself with such strength and pride. She was a great mother did an amazing job raising her daughter. She is survived by her daughter Karie (Chad) Prentice; her two grandchildren Khloe and Cole Prentice; brothers Steve Carter and David Carter; sister Sheri (Steve) Soden and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
