Janet Darlene Beebe

Janet Darlene Beebe, 89, passed away on October 31, 2025 in Van Nuys, CA. Born on April 2, 1936 in Tulare, CA to Emma Gleason and Jack Groff, she spent her early years raising poultry and vegetables on the family farm. Janet graduated high school in Fresno where she loved singing, movies, books and games.
She married straight out of high school and became a military wife where she honed her organizational skills by moving often throughout the West while raising four children. When she became a single mother, Janet applied her intelligence, organizational skills and dedication to become a retail manager for over 20 years. After marrying the love of her life, Harry Beebe, her passion for growing blossomed to produce lovely gardens and friendships.
Janet is preceded by her husband Harry and survived by her brother Kenneth Groff, her four children Carolyn, Michael, Susan and Julie, her six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
A celebration of Janet's life will be held at 2 pm November 17 at Reardon Mortuary in Simi Valley, CA. She will be interred later with her beloved Harry at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Janet, please visit our floral store.
