Janet Marie Caudill, nee Gamache, aged 79, peacefully passed away November 22, 2025. She was born in Danbury, Connecticut on January 22, 1946, and lived in Naugatuck. She met Emery M Caudill II, of Albuquerque, NM and later married August 5, 1966. They moved to Albuquerque in 1972 and raised two children, Liana M Caudill Robertson and Emery M. Caudill III (Scotty). She worked last in retail and later retired. She was very devoted to her Catholic faith, serving the St Charles Borromeo church as a recorder for the devotional society there for many years. She was great friends with the priests and sisters there, being good friends and helping them for many years. She loved to attend services and be of assistance where needed within her parish.
She enjoyed traveling and exploring the mountains and deserts in New Mexico. She loved to collect rocks, petrified wood, and other artifacts. The family travelled in California, Florida, and many states in between, visiting historical sites, museums, mountains, and oceans. She enjoyed doing genealogical research on the family, finding among the family history soldiers, farmers, inventors and even a saint.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ella Schultz Gamache and Edward Gamache, her brothers Michael and Edward, and her son Emery III. She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Emery II, her daughter Liana, her son-in-law Gregory Robertson, grandchildren Stephanie and Stephen and great grandchildren Kaylee, Emily, and Zooey.
She was a wonderful loving wife, mother, and friend to many and will be sorely missed. We are comforted by her faith in the Lord.
