I am so sorry to have learned about Janet's passing. I worked with Janet in Dietary at Mercy Hospital for a few years as a High Schooler, but I also knew Janet as a sweet friend of our family. My grandmother Imogene Larson introduced Janet to me when I was a young girl. The two of them would let my cousin Katie and I tag along as they attended many NIACC performances. I have fond memories picking Janet up from her Kirk apartment in downtown Mason City. After my grandma's passing, we kept in touch with Janet as she moved into Good Shepherd and my aunt Sue Sumners was still a dear friend to Janet stopping by and checking in on her each time she visited from Denver. Sue would sometimes take her to Birdsall's. Sue and Janet would talk on the phone every Wednesday night ever since Grandma Imo's passing. She will be greatly missed. It makes me smile just thinking about the reunion she had with Grandma Imo. Blessings to Janet's family.
