Janet L. Davidson, 55, of Carue Drive, Scituate, died Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Matthew A. Davidson.

Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of Claire (Delisle) Botelho of Somerset, MA and the late David Botelho. Janet had lived in Scituate for 27 years.

Janet graduated from The College of the Holy Cross and later earned her Master's degree from University of Phoenix. She had worked as a Computer Programmer at Fidelity for 22 years. For the past seven years she was a teacher at Hope High School, 360, and UCAP.

Janet was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and spent much of her time serving the women and youth of the church, including teaching early morning seminary for 10 years out of her home.

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughters: Shannon Henrichsen and her husband, Brandon of West Jordan, Utah, Emma Rose Davidson of East Providence, Alyssa Mae Davidson of Scituate, and twins: Allysia Marie and Skyla Rose Davidson, both of Scituate and her sisters: Denise McCabe of Gilbert, Arizona and Diane Ultrino of Hudson, NH.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 10am in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 551 Central Pike, Scituate, RI. Burial will follow in Phillips Memorial Cemetery, Foster. Visitation will be on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 4-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Please omit flowers. Donations in her memory may be made to Glioblastoma Research Organization.
