Janet C Dietz went to be with the Lord on May 20, 2025. She was born to Elijah and Lola Morris in Blountstown, Florida, on June 24, 1944. She was a strong woman, enduring many challenges in life, but by God's help and grace, she maintained compassion for those around her. Those who knew her know that she was a giving person, giving of her time to Macedonia Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member, as well as to her community whenever she was called upon. Janet was bold in her faith and would talk about the saving grace and power of the One who gave His life for her. She loved her God and Savior, Jesus Christ, and dedicated her life to serving him. She was a loving mother who taught her children and grandchildren to live for the Lord and follow His Word in their daily lives. Her greatest desire was to see her family serving God! She is preceded in death by her parents, Elijah and Lola Morris, and her husband, James (Jim) David Dietz, I. She is survived by her three children, Pastor Tim (Wanda) Bailey of White City, Melissa (Bubby) Shuler of Bristol, and David (Rachel) Dietz of Blountstown, as well as her six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren who will miss their granny, grandma, and GG greatly! In lieu of flowers, she requested that a donation be made to Macedonia Baptist Church to their mission fund. Graveside services will be at Nettle Ridge Cemetery on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM CST. Arrangements are under the direction of Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.

Know you are missed on this earth Mama but I know without a doubt that you are in heaven with Jesus right where you wanted to be. You have a new body no more blindness no more pain I´m thankful for all you done for us here on this earth but I´m most thankful that you taught us to love Jesus and always follow him.
