Janet Ditonno Obituary
Village, Peabody, Ma. Formerly, longtime resident of
Wakefield, Ma, passed away Friday, June 27 surrounded by
her family.
Beloved wife of the late Posidon (Possie) Sabanty,
Predeceased by her brother Frank Ditonno, sisters Ann Marie
(Nina) Boccelli, Vienna Pepe; her parents Michael Ditonno
and Alvina Ditonno (Pizzuto) and her loving Stepmother
Stephanie Ditonno. She will be deeply missed and forever
loved, by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Janet was born and raised in Wakefield, MA, graduating from
Wakefield HS. She started her career as a secretary at
Transitron in Wakefield for over 35 years, where she met her
husband, Possie. Janet and Possie where together for over
60 years, enjoying summers down the cape and winters in
Florida. She loved having Falmouth Road Race cookouts,
going to a Casino, playing cards and Bingo.
Celebration of life to follow at a later date.
