Janet E. Ellison

Janet E. Ellison, 86, of Upper Deerfield Twp., passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Preferred Care at Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Twp.
Born in Yorketown, NJ to the late Walter Horner and Ethel Ragner, she was the wife of the late Charles A. Ellison. Janet had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp. since 1962 and prior to that she had resided in Bridgeton. She had been employed with Seabrook Bros. And Sons until her retirement, prior to that she had work at Mr. Biggs in Bridgeton. Janet enjoyed sitting out in the sun, shopping and auctioning. She loved her animals, enjoyed the kids in the family (while they were young), and most importantly spending time with her family.
She is survived by; son, Charlie W. Ellison; and grandchildren, Nadia Ellison, Dyllan Ellison and Doug Glass. She was preceded in death by; husband, Charles A. Ellison; sons, Brian Ellison and David Ellison; sisters, Mildred McAllister, Jean Grebowich and Ann Harris; and brother Walter Horner.
Memorial Services will be held at the Padgett Funeral Home on Thursday, September 26th at 12:00 Noon. Friends will be received from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon prior to the services at the funeral home.
