Janet Sue (Caulfield) Frisbie, age 91, peacefully passed away on 11 November 2023. She was born on 9 November 1932 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a resident of Indianapolis for her entire life.
She graduated from ShortRidge High School, class of 1950, and spent a semester at Butler University. She married Charles Frisbie in 1950, and together they had 3 children.
Janet was a lifelong member of Christ Church Cathedral where she was one of the three original members of the girls choir, and was a member of the Alter Guild for many years. She made a career as a legal secretary and as a part owner of a Hallmark store downtown.
She is survived by a daughter and two grandchildren.
There will be a viewing at Flanner Buchanan – Broad Ripple on Thursday, November 16, from 2 to 4 PM. Services will be at Christ Church Cathedral on Friday, November 17, at 2 PM followed by burial at Washington Park North Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution in Janet's name to Christ Church Cathedral.
