Janet Elizabeth Gullicksen
Age 86. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, Lee's Summit, MO. She is survived by her children: Lyndell (Norman) Simmons, Lisa (Je?rey) Brown and John (Susan) Gullicksen, her grandchildren: Nathan Ends, Emily (Luis) Contreras, Joshua (Holly) Brown, Jacob (Nicole) Brown, Rachel Gullicksen (Whitt Sherrill) and Tanner Gullicksen, her 8 great grandchildren and her twin sister: Judy (Bruce) Damerell. Preceded in death by her husband, Dale W. Gullicksen and her parents, Arthur J. & Millicent C.
Feil. Born in Chicago IL, raised in New Lenox, lived in Plainfield for 25 years before moving back toNew Lenox. Janet retired from the Lakewood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after working 25 years as an RN and Director of Nursing. Janet was a compassionate geriatric nurse. Janet was also a
member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church. Family will receive family and friends Friday, February, 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Kurtz Funeral
Home in New Lenox IL, with a memorial service to follow. Interment Maplewood Cemetery, New Lenox. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Morningstar Mission, Joliet would be appreciated.
