Janet Marie Jannelli

Janet Marie Jannelli, a lifelong resident of Summit, NJ, passed away on February 10, 2023.
Born in Summit on November 8, 1941, Janet was the daughter of Mary Lombardi Jannelli and Carmine R. Jannelli. She graduated from Summit High School and was employed by Automatic Switch Company in Florham Park, NJ, for 42 years. Retirement did not slow her down. She began volunteering for the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Summit and was soon hired as an event planner, a position that required frequent trips to the Short Hills Mall and attendance at many festive events, two activities she deeply enjoyed. Most recently she was an administrator at H & R Block in Short Hills, NJ, and a volunteer for SAGE in Summit.
Janet is survived by her brother, Anthony Jannelli, and sister in law, Sally Cummings, both of Hoboken, NJ; by her niece Avery Jannelli and nephew Nicholas Jannelli, both of Philadelphia, PA; by her Aunt Eleanor of North Myrtle Beach, SC, and many cousins in the Summit area and beyond.
