Jan Katz Obituary
On September 2, 2025, Jan Katz passed away at age 87. Daughter of Ruth and George Walker, widow of Arthur Katz, she leaves behind her loving family-Laney (Harold) Becker; Sheila (Scott) Rothstein; Marci (Daniel) Ungar. She was blessed to have seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be graveside, on September 4, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., at Beth Shalom Cemetery, in Oregon, Ohio, with a shiva to follow at Barry Bagels, 4024 North Holland-Sylvania Road, in Toledo. The family requests that any donations in her memory be made to Congregation B'nai Israel, in Sylvania.
