She was my bus driver when I lived on Banta Creek Road. She was no nonsense when it came to bus behavior. She took her job and her riders very serious! Always started and ended my day with a smile followed with "See ya tomorrow kiddos!" She never second guessed our trip up back part of good ole Bantas Creek Road on those snowy country roads. Especially "the dreaded hill!" Sometimes we had to make 2 or 3 tries! Then our paths crossed again at the Preble County Habitat for Humanity Restore. You could always be guaranteed a harassing welcome every-time you entered and left the store. She knew everyone by name. Then I got to work her at Habitat! She was a hoot! Always a fun day! She will be missed by our community!
