Janet Marie Lang

Janet Marie Lang, born on August 3, 1949, in West Allis, Wisconsin, departed this world on June 30, 2025, in Meridian, Idaho. She is lovingly remembered as a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Janet was the devoted daughter of William and Bernice Walloch, both of whom have predeceased her. She is survived by her two sons, Paul Lang and Mark Lang; Paul's spouse, Kelly Gann Lang, and their son Erik Lang.
Janet's bond with her family was strong, and she took great pride in their achievements and happiness. As a sister, Janet played a significant role in the lives of her siblings. She is survived by her beloved sisters, Shirley Schoenauer, and Carol Walloch, as well as her sister Sandra Turkowitch. Janet also grieved the loss of her siblings Thomas Walloch and his spouse Darlene, Joyce Shultz, and Karen Sourile whose memories she held close to her heart.
In her professional life, Janet was a dedicated X-Ray Technologist, serving with great commitment for 45 years. Her expertise and compassion for her patients made her a respected figure in her field. Janet was known for her vibrant personality and a zest for life. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society, where she enjoyed making lasting friendships through fun and lively activities. Janet also loved playing Bunco and had a passion for sewing, cooking, and baking. Her affinity for travel and shopping brought her immense joy, and she could often be found at the poker and blackjack tables, relishing the thrill of gambling. A ceremony to honor Janet's life will be held at Summers Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 1:00pm. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate and remember the remarkable woman Janet was. Janet Marie Lang leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will endure in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be profoundly missed but lovingly remembered for her warmth, spirit, and unwavering love for those she held dear.
