Janet Lee Davis Giebel Obituary
She was born Monday, October 31, 1938, at Buckhannon, WV a daughter of the late Lattie C. Davis and Virginia Gail Townsend Davis. Surviving are one son, James M. Davis (Barb) of Elkins; two daughters, LeAnn M. Nutter (Perry) of Ellamore, Wendy M. Bodkins (Ronnie) of Belington; one sister, Dorothy Ann Phillips (Gary) of Beverly; ten grandchildren, Jamie (Cliff), Sarah, Samantha (Dave), Jimmy, Korbin, Gretchen (Matt), Cameron, Alexis (Jon Paul), Abagail (Doug), and Bryson; nine great grandchildren, Aubreigh, Amara, Gunner, Troy, Haden, Marshall, Linkoln, Harper and Walker; special nephews, Jarrod Phillips (Christi) and Steve Davis; special niece, Stephanie Ludle (Michael); and special family, Pat Phillips (Doug), Michael Ludle (Shelby), Uriah Ludle (Brianna), Mykala Thompson (Joey), Myla, Grant, Elliot and Kendall Cain; and caretaker and special friend, Sabrina Talkington.
Preceding her in death are one brother, Lowell "Nick" Davis; and sister-in-law, Faye.
She was a graduate of Coalton High School. She was a very proud veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, had worked for Webb Ford Sales in Elkins and retired as a bookkeeper for C & O Motors at Charleston. Janet loved reading, word search puzzles and watching Westerns. She enjoyed being with her family very much. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed.
Janet's request for cremation was honored.
