Janet Hall Lowe

Janet Hall Lowe, 85, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Fredericksburg on August 6, 1940, to Otis Hall and Marie Harding Hall. Janet graduated from Stafford High School in 1958 and from Mary Washington College in 1985.

Together with her husband, Ralph, she founded Child's World in Stafford County. She later worked for the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court in Stafford and Fredericksburg, where she eventually retired. Janet was devoted to her family and will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ralph Lowe; parents, Otis and Marie Hall; and sister, Marianna "Inky" Seay.

Survivors include her children, Chris Lowe and his wife Sallie, Kelly Williams, and Kasey Furrow and her husband Matt; siblings, Phyllis Pritchett Lamont, Alan Hall, and Martha Davenport; grandsons, Richard "Ross" Haley of Ohio and Trae Jett; granddaughters, Carter and Madison Furrow; great-granddaughters, Aubree Jett and Olivia Haley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
