I was 4 when we moved into a house my parents bought from friends on the corner of Monmouth Blvd. & Arthur St. in Glendola. My 1st memory there is meeting the Manger family. They were sure to have someone close to your age- yes, Janet was my age. Our 1st outing led to parental displeasure. A good-sized group of us went down to the "airplane park" (but no airplane yet). Though only 4 years old, Janet & I were perfectly willing to follow the older kids in the group- so mature, they were 6/7 years old. We all walked carefully along the wide grassy margin beside Ecom Evans tall chain link fence. We all looked both ways to cross Belmar Blvd, a fairly quiet boulevard back then (except during rush hour at Evans area). No sooner did I move there, I was in trouble ! Our parents didn´t know where we were, & certainly didn´t think of that outing. But in the end, as we learned to ride bicycles, our freedom to roam was part of life in the 60´s. From sunrise to sunset, we were busy playing outside. They were good times!

Janet & I went to High School together and we enjoyed those fun teenage years as a group of us. A group of us from Wall Twp will send a memorial. A sweet lovely gal she was. Rest in sweet peace
