Janet Allene Morehead

Janet Allene (Haynes) Morehead, 77, of Blytheville, Arkansas passed away on March 17, 2026 at her home. Janet was born on March 25, 1948 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Jim Allen and Zada Haynes. She worked at First National Bank which later became Southern Bancorp for 40 plus years where she retired as a V.P. of retail. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include; one daughter: Jessica Morehead of Blytheville, Arkansas; one son: Glenn Morehead (Brittany) of Blytheville, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Hunter (Tara), Makayla, D.J., Sasha, Charlie, and River; three great grandchildren; her dog: Rascal; and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by; her husband: Rick Morehead; her parents; four brothers; and four sisters.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 24 in Blytheville, Arkansas.
