Beloit, WI - Janet A. Nodland, 81, of Beloit, WI passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Cedar Crest Senior Living, Janesville, WI. She was born on April 3, 1943 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Stanley and Mary Neva (Sarow) Kemp. Janet was a 1961 Clinton High School graduate. She married Jesse Nodland Jr. on April 2, 1966 in Rockton, IL. He predeceased her on May 16, 2019. Janet was formerly employed as a secretary at various places over the years. She was an active member of the Beloit Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where she played the piano and was on the board. Janet spent her time gardening and socializing with friends, neighbors and family. Survivors include her daughters, Ann (Jay) Jenson and Lucinda (Bill) Nodland-Stark; grandchildren, Timothy Jenson and Rebecka (Johnny) Nguyen; great-grandchild, Aubrey Schmalz; brother-in-law, Armand Meier; and sister-in-law, Susan Kemp. Janet was predeceased by her parents; husband, Jesse; sister, Kathryn Meier; brother, Kenneth Kemp; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Maureen and Charles Nodland. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI with Chaplain Mark Maxted officiating. Burial will be in Emerald Grove Cemetery. A visitation of remembrance will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
