Janet Ann Parsick was born on April 29, 1934 in Newark, New Jersey. The daughter of Al and Florence Marshuetz and sibling to Florence, Al, and Bobby, she married her beloved fiancé Julius Parsick on February 2, 1951. They lived all over the east coast, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Florida. A homemaker and a school bus driver, she was devoted to her family. As an excellent cook she loved nothing more than sharing her home and hospitality at large family gatherings. She enjoyed fine
dining, spoiling her grandchildren, and cruising and travel, including visits to multiple European countries, Alaska, Hawaii, and a trip through the Panama Canal. She was beloved by all who met her and made new friends her entire life. Janet passed away on February 1, 2022, and is survived by her husband Julius of 71 years, her four children; Steven (Paula), Susan (Thomas), Jill (John) and Jay; as well as six grandchildren;
Jason, Stephanie, Jennifer, Sam, Jack, Jay, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson Joe.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 10, 5pm-7pm and a service will be held on
Friday, February 11, at 12pm, at the Craig Funeral Home in St. Augustine. In lieu of
flowers, please send donations to the American Diabetes Association, a cause near to
Janet's heart.
