Janet Manley Proctor

JANET PROCTOR Janet Manley Proctor, 55, resident of 1202 E. Laurel Avenue, wife of Joe Glenn Proctor, Sr., died August 27, 2012 at her home. Born in Greenwood, February 21, 1957, she was a daughter of the late William Edwin, Sr. and Johnnie Clardy Manley. Formerly employed by Self Regional Medical Center as an LPN, she retired from Abbeville Nursing Home. Mrs. Proctor was a member of Woodfields Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are a son, James Fisher of Manning; two step-sons, Michael (Kelly) Proctor of Greenwood and Joe Glenn Proctor, Jr. of Denver, CO; two step-daughters, Paula (Mike) Blair of Mississippi and Tommy Proctor of Charleston; a sister, Martha M. (Charles) Manley of Greenwood; a sister-in-law, Patsy Hozey Manley of Greenwood; two brothers, Michael W. Manley of Bradley and John Clifton Manley of Greenville; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, William E. Manley, Jr. A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
