St. Louis, Missouri to Lloyd and Joyce (nee Husky) Medlock and entered into rest Saturday, December 9, 2023 in
Ballwin, Missouri at the age of 65 years.
She is preceded in death by, her parents,
She is survived by, her three (3) children; Christine (Jay) Wheelington, Heather Schmitt, and Shane Worrell, five (5) grandchildren; Lexi (Brad) Schmitt, Abbi Schweiss, Amber Schweiss, Skylar Wheelington, and Chloe Worrell, one (1) great grandchild; BJ Boyd, and five (5) brothers, along with numerous extended family and friends.
Janet was a devoted mother, doting grandmother and great grandmother, and beloved sister. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild.
Janet was a medical billing specialist for the healthcare industry. She spent many years working with Barnes Jewish Children's Hospital (BJC) in St. Louis.
Janet was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed going to the Casino. She had a passion for the ocean and loved country music.
Janet enjoyed a daily cup of coffee or sweet tea. She always had her nails done.
Janet loved the color purple. Tulips were her favorite flower.
Janet was friends to all. In her neighborhood everyone knew her as "mom". She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 10301 Big Bend Rd.
