Rest in peace, Ms. Janet Waldo. My prayer and condolence are to the Waldo family. I pray (Heavenly Father) that the Waldo family would be comforted. I pray (Heavenly Father) that the Waldo family would rest in being insured that their loved one Ms. Janet Waldo is in a better place. Dear Waldo Family and Friends, I absolutely adored Janet. Her featured episode on I Love Lucy where she played teenager Peggy Dawson who has a crush on Ricky remains one of my favorites. She was an absolute natural. I also remember her,on TAGS in the episode "A Wife for Andy". She was a gifted talented actress. A true gentlewoman, and one who always took the time to show kindness. Her talented was unlimited. Those of us at the Jack Wormser Agency adored her.

I only hope her family can understand how much she meant to so many. The world lost a muse yesterday.

I remember Janet Waldo not only as the voice of "Judy Jetson" in the iconic Hanna-Barbera cartoon series "The Jetsons," but also from her several live action appearances in "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet." In those episodes, Waldo would often emit a high-pitched squeal-of-a-giggle, sounding rather like a female version of Frank Nelson (the "Yes--s-s!" man of "The Jack Benny Program").

Miss Waldo also appeared in a memorable 1952 episode (titled "The Young Fans") of "I Love Lucy," in which she and a younger Dick Crenna (later co-star in TV's "Our Miss Brooks" and "The Real McCoys," director of several episodes of "The Andy Griffith Show") portrayed younger people smitten by the series' lead characters of "Lucy & Ricky Ricardo." In the episode, "The Ricardos" age rapidly to become an elderly couple, to dissuade Waldo's "Peggy Dawson" and Crenna's "Arthur Morton" from their unwanted attention. Waldo was already in her 30s but playing a teenager in that episode.
