Janet Marie Wilkinson Williams

Went to Heaven Sunday, May 26, 2024.

Janet was born January 11, 1961 in Corpus Christi, Texas. In her younger years, her family moved often before finally settling down in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.

Janet graduated from Fletcher High School in 1979. She met her high school sweetheart, Greg, at Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) at St. Paul’s Catholic Church when she was 15 years old. They were married in 1980.

Janet loved to bowl, and enjoyed league bowling with her mother and friends for many years. She also loved inshore fishing with Greg, traveling to new places, going to concerts, spending time at the lake house with family and friends, enjoying good wine, and beating her friends in Wordle competitions. Some of her favorite times of all were playing games and watching movies with her grandbabies.

She lived a very blessed and full life. She raised two fine children, volunteering for many supporting roles alongside them as they grew and moved through school. She worked for many years in payroll and human resources for National Graphic Imaging, earning the respect and love of all within the company. She was also heavily involved in St. Martha’s Circle providing funeral receptions at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach. She was very fulfilled yet humble, endlessly kind and giving.

Janet was preceded in death by her father Curtis Wilkinson and mother Virginia Wilkinson (Davidson). Janet is survived by her sister Sue Bowling (Chris), brother David Wilkinson (Teresa), husband Greg Williams, daughter Alison Jerreld (Daniel), granddaughters Noelle (3) and Sophie (1), son Scott Williams, multiple nieces and nephews, and a village of friends.

Services for Janet will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church at 523 Pablo Avenue in Jacksonville Beach, on June 10 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to:
