60 year old, Janice M. Armstrong, of Rensselaer, passed away July 28, 2024, with her loving family around her.
On October 24, 1963, Janice was born to Glen and Pat (Duncan) Outler, in Hammond, Indiana. Janice married the love of her life, John Armstrong, on June 14, 1980, in Hammond, Indiana, and was married 44 years. Janice owned Barnyard Bloomers Greenhouse and was called the “Flower Lady” when in season otherwise a loving housewife. She liked to do crafts, sew, and paint. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother, who liked animals too.
Janice is survived by her loving family, husband: John, children: Janice (Adam) Baer, Jonathan Armstrong, 2 grandchildren: Adam Armstrong, Billy Powell, mother: Pat Outler, siblings: Jeff Outler, Barbara Clay, and Daniel (Rhonda) Outler.
Janice was preceded in death by her father: Glen Outler.
Per Janice’s wishes cremation will take place.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
