Janice Butler Obituary
Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Grace Burns.
Janice worked as a Secretary for Harris Corporation for many years and was a member of the Scottish Girls Club.
She will be dearly missed by her son Kenneth J. Butler and his wife Penny of Berryville, VA; twelve cherished grandchildren, Josh (Kerri) Butler, Kristin (Joe) Capalbo, Kelli Butler, Phillip Butler, Lauren Butler, Jeffrey Butler Jr., Andrew Concilio, Alexandra Concilio, Margaret (Ross) Manning, Rose (Stu) Manning, Patrick (Amy) Manning and Helen Manning; and ten great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Kate Butler of Naples, FL. Janice was predeceased by her son Jeffrey Butler in 2023.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Royal Westerly Nursing Home and Continuum Hospice for their support and care.
Visiting hours are omitted. A Funeral Service will take place at 11am on Friday, September 26th at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Burial will follow at River Bend Cemetery, 117 Beach St., Westerly. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Janice's memory to SUFA in Westerly.
