Janice Laverne Chunn, 82, of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, went to be with her Heavenly Father Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Apple Creek Health and Rehabilitation, Centerton, Arkansas. She was born on December 4, 1943, in McComb, Mississippi, to Helen Marie Newman and Talmadge Bean, and had been a longtime resident of Mississippi before moving to Arkansas later in life. Janice was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Talmadge Laverne Bean and Helen Marie Newman; her brother Glen Marshall Reynolds; and daughter Tina L. Henry.

She is survived by two sisters, Dianne (Rodney) Dykes, of McComb, Mississippi, and Vivian Reynolds, of Osyka, Mississippi; two brothers, James Dale (Darla) Bean, of Sour Lake, Texas, and Jerry Lynn (Bobbie) Bean, of Beaumont, Texas; sons, Keith (Rebecca) Chunn, of Greenville, Mississippi and Jason Chunn of Heber Springs, Arkansas; grandchildren, Ryan (Tara) Chunn, Angela (Adrian) Noel, Jeremy (Elizabeth) Henry, David Ryan (Cynthia) Herrin, Kristan (Trey) Jackson, Ryan (Taylor) Chunn, Raechale Gafford; fifteen great grandchildren; her ex-husband, James Melvin Chunn, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. with a committal service to follow at Bethel Cemetery in Gravette, Arkansas.
