Janice Cothran

Mrs. Cothran was one of the most outstanding and caring teachers when I attended Northside back many many years ago! She always had a smile on her face and would help you in any way. When she taught at Emerald High she had me come speak for her Genetics class and it was a wonderful time every year remembering old times. She will be missed. Praying for the family during this time. May God give you comfort and peace. She loved you all.

Mrs. Cothran was my homeroom teacher and teacher at Northside Junior High School many years ago. She genuinely cared about her students. When my husband, Jim, served St. Mark UMC in Greenwood several years ago, I saw her at a funeral. I had not seen her since she was my teacher at Northside. She immediately recognized me after all those years. She was such a kind and caring person. I will be praying for your family during the coming days and months.

I had Mrs. Cothran as a teacher at Northside. She REALLY cared for her students. Paige and I were also friends. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Look to the Lord for peace and comfort during this time. He is our source for strength!
