Janice Culp Obituary
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 E Broadway, Monticello. Funeral service will be on Thursday, Aprill 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, with visitation starting at 10:00 AM. Pastor Teresa Nelson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Swedish Mission Cemetery in Buffalo, MN.
Janice Culp was born on July 16, 1952, in Princeton, MN to Howard and Shirley (Lind) Berthiaume. She grew up in Duelm and graduated from Becker High School. She worked at Monticello-Big Lake Nursing Home in the laundry department. She worked at Lange Board & Rooming Home in Clear Lake, MN.
She was married to Gerald Culp for over 43 years. They lived in the Becker area until moving to Heimdal, ND in 2013. Her hobbies were cross stitching, painting, word finds & number finds, playing cards, helping her sister in the garden, canning, and doing little chores on her sister's farm. She enjoyed watching Heartland, watching The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, Dancing with the Stars and any Game Shows.
She is survived by her son, David, of Heimdal, ND; daughter, Candice (Bryan) Nelson, of Milaca, MN; Four grandchildren, Zachary, Luke, Trevor, and Bryanna; great-grandchildren, Kaven and Amara; siblings, Joe (LuAnn) Berthiaume, of Becker, MN, Jerome (Shelia) Berthiaume, of Big Lake, MN, Julian (Debbie) Berthiaume, of Becker, MN, Jeff (Sally) Berthiaume, of Becker MN, and Jennifer (Rick) Baumgartner, of Becker, MN; sister-in-law, Patricia Berthiaume; brothers-in-law, Eugene Lambert and Tim Johnson; mother-in-law, Frieda Culp; many nieces and nephews.
Janice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerald Culp; parents, Howard and Shirley Berthiaume; brothers, James and Jon Berthiaume; sisters, Judith Lambert and Justine Berthiaume; niece, Amanda Berthiaume.
