Janice Deaton Obituary
She was born on July 27, 1948 in Almont, MI, to the late Frank and Eva Owen. Janice and Kenneth Deaton were united in marriage on April 23, 1977. Together the owned and operated J-Lyn Charters. She loved fishing, crafts, was a part of the Thumb Area Steelheaders, and was past President of the Michigan Charter Boat Association. They were always helping to clean and donate fish whenever they could.
Janice is survived by her husband Ken Deaton, her brother David Owen and sister Dreda Thompson. She was preceded in death by her sister Debbie Owen.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are being handled by the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com
