Janice Kay Dow, 64, of Owensboro, died Thursday, September 10, 2009, at her home. She was born March 25, 1945 in Daviess County. Her parents were the late Joe and Maxine Case Morris. She attended New Life Baptist Church, formerly worked at S. W. Anderson for several years, and enjoyed auto racing, being with her family and was a loving mom.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Keith Dow; her daughter, LaDonna Horn of Owensboro, her sons, Jody Horn of Rockport, IN, and Scott Horn of Owensboro; four grandchildren, Scottie Horn, Jr., Ashley, Tony, and Brandon Horn; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Buddy (Mary Jane) Morris of Bowling Green; two nephews, Mike (Barbara) Morris, and Greg (Mia) Morris, one niece, Leigh Ann (Russ) Kerr; four great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, with entombment in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday and after 9:00 AM Monday at the funeral home.
