Janice Ruth Evans went to be with her Heavenly Father on August 19th. She was born at Lost Springs on March 11, 1940 to Gustav and Esther (Knuth) Lueker. Janice graduated with the last class to graduate from Lost Springs in 1958. She married Jim Evans on October 3, 1958. They lived in various Kansas and Missouri towns before settling in Camdenton at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Janice worked at the 1st National Bank in Camdenton for 36 years, working her way to Vice President. After retirement she moved to Newton to be closer to family.
Janice was active in her church. She was a member of Active Seniors and the Sewing Circle. Janice also spent time at the Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Father, Mother, sisters Elaine White and Virginia Reed, brothers Robert and Harold Lueker, brothers in law Ken White, John Reed and Rogers Evans and sister in law Shirley Lueker.
Survivors are sister Marge (Allen) Steely of Newton and brother Vern (Janice) Lueker of Clay Center, sisters in law Connie Lueker and Yvonne Evans. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and close friends Joan Stovall and Shelby Maier as well as her beloved dog Shadow.
Memorials can be sent to Zion Lutheran Church in Newton or St. John's Lutheran Church in Lincolnville.
