Janice Mills Gandy, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and sister has passed away at the age of 64 on November 4, 2024. She was born on February 3, 1960, in Thomasville to the late Bobby Mills and Genita Mills.
Janice was a member of Barnett's Creek Baptist Church in Ochlocknee. She was a woman of deep faith and loved her church. Janice loved her family very much and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her husband Charles Gandy, daughters Jennifer Braswell of Ochlocknee and Stephanie Bass of Cairo, grandchildren Owen Braswell, Natalie Bass, Olivia Bass, Layla Bass, and Stella Bass, siblings Jackie Sellars of Ochlocknee, JoAnne Carter of Cairo, and Bobby Mills Jr. of Ochlocknee.
A service to celebrate the life of Janice Mills Gandy will be held on Friday, November 8th at 11 am at Barnett's Creek Baptist Church in Ochlocknee with Sam Eason and Dan Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 7th from 5-7 pm at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Janice will be laid to rest at Ochlocknee City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children and Youth Ministries at Barnett's Creek Baptist Church, 27 Maddox Road Ochlocknee, GA 31773.
