Janice Vande Hei

Janice Vande Hei (Hockers), "Crafty Lady," age 81, of De Pere, passed away August 9, 2023. The daughter of Elmer and Marge (Ratajczak) Hockers was born January 22, 1942. She married William J. Vande Hei on September 6,1965 at St. Mary Catholic Church in De Pere. Janice enjoyed gardening, crafting and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in De Pere.
She is survived by her husband, William J.; children: Scott (Tina) Vande Hei and Lisa (John) Roosa; grandchildren: Carsen and Hailey; brother Wayne (Judy) Hockers; brothers-in-law: Randy (Anna) Vande Hei and Danny Vande Hei; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marge and Elmer, she was preceded in death by her in-laws: John and Frances Vande Hei; brother-in-law Robert and sister-in-law Jeannie.
Family and friends may visit at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan Street, De Pere, on Wednesday, August 16, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with the Rev. Mike Ingold officiating.
