Mrs. Janice Laura "Lolly" Jernigan-Hill was born January 4, 1965, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She passed this life peacefully, October 26, 2025, in her Diana, Texas home. Lolly was one of nine children born to the marriage of Jo Joyce Dagnell and Joseph Ashline Jernigan, Jr. She was raised in the Methodist faith and a graduate of Elysian Fields High School with the class of 1983.
Mrs. Jernigan-Hill spent her career working as a florist and in retail grocery. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Arkansas Razerback fan. Lolly is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joseph T. and Jimmy Joe Jernigan, Sr., nephew Jimmy Joe Jernigan, Jr., Sister-in-law, Sharon Land Jernigan; brother-in-law, Petie Hill.
Mrs. Jernigan-Hill is survived by her devoted spouse, Cindy "Chill" Hill of Diana; Siblings, Brenda L. Hill of Panola, Pamela J. Cox and husband Robert of Panola, Johnny L. Jernigan, Sr. of Bethany, Tina Jernigan of Marshall, Renee Sutton and husband Jim of Hallsville, Jeri Arnold and husband Pat of Haughton, LA; sister-in-law, Karen Jernigan of Tyler; three honorary sisters, Andrea Atkins and husband Lee of Hallsville, Miranda Klima and husband Ricky, Lisa "Lili" Jester; mother-in-law, Bessie Pepper; brothers in law, Jeff Cooper and wife Becky of Ashdown, AR, and Buddy Cooper of Ogden, AR; God daughter, Kynzlee Love Toal of Elysian Fields; nieces and nephews, Sonya Crutcher, Shannon Patton, Jacy Jernigan, John Locke, Kami Toal, Jennifer Jernigan-Green, Johnny Jernigan Jr., Stephanee Mathis, Meagan Beavers, MaKayla Hines, Joseph Ashline Barton, Alice Rangel, Patricia Davidson, Samantha Kohl, Sidney Theiss; her beloved fur babies, Emma Grace, Caroline, and Purrcilla.
Serving as pallbearers will be Austin "LA" Henigan, Scott "Hooptie" Hooper, Wes Cooper, Ricky Klima, Johnny Jernigan Jr., John Locke, Honorary pallbearers are Robert Cox, Matt Caffey, Jody Barton, Jim Sutton and Buddy Cooper; numerous great nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The family would like to thank Heart to Heart caregivers, Aleisha, Staci, Kelli, Darcy and Obed and Sergio with EMT. Memorial donations may be made in her honor to the Jernigan Cemetery.
