Janice Marie Lehman

October 11, 1963 - October 14, 2025

Janice (Jan) M. Lehman, 62, passed away at her home in Yuma, Arizona on October 14, 2025 after a two-year battle with cancer.

Born October 11, 1963 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Janice was the daughter of the late Vernon and Lois (Schindler) Lehman.

Janice graduated from South Side High School in 1982 and the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in 1985, where she worked in the NICU before moving to Yuma, Arizona in 1988. She was employed by Yuma Regional Medical Center for over 30 years as a neonatal nurse until 2023. Janice took great pride in caring for all of the premature babies in her care. She was compassionate and a loving, loyal and generous friend and family member.

She loved attending the Elvis Expo events in Arizona with her sisters, niece and friends.

Janice is survived by her son, Daniel Lehman and grandson, Andrew Lehman of Yuma; sisters, Judith Lehman and Cheryl (Rick) Kirchner of Fort Wayne, Indiana; nieces, Jennifer Kirchner and Caitlin Stout, and nephews, Mark (Brittany) Kirchner and Connor Tumbleson of Fort Wayne; aunts, Margaret Powell and Mary (Denny) King-Benson of Indiana; and many cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held on October 30th, 2025 at 10:30 am at the Desert Valley Mortuary, located at 138 S Ave B in Somerton, Arizona.
